It’s all about the brows this season, they’re no way around it. They can be all natural or extremely groomed. Ooh I would love to be the proud owner of a pair of perfectly shaped brows, but sadly, I wasn’t blessed with that. So I really need help, other wise I kind of look like an alien.( without brows.. ) And that’s not a pretty sight! I’ve used a lot of different products over the years, and my favorite products are by far the Make Up Forever Brow Tint and the Anastasia Brow Wiz and Dipbrow Pomade. But since Make Up Forever is no longer sold here in the Netherlands, and Anastasia products are quite expensive, I wanted to try and find an affordable similar product. I found the Make Up Revolution Ultra Brow Tint online, and quickly ordered it. Take a closer look and check out my swatches and review!
I ordered the Ultra Aqua Brown Tint in two colors; Fair and Medium.
Dupe? The Ultra Aqua Brow Tint looks a lot like the Make Up Forever Aqua Brow. The packaging looks quite similar and the product too. I would say yes!
Swatches: Fair and Medium. The consistency is different than The Make Up Forever Brow Tint, which is a little more solid. This makes applying it totally different, it took me a while to get the hang of it. You just need a tiny little drop of the Ultra Aqua Brow Tint for both brows. I prefer using the Make Up Forever Aqua Brow, it’s a little more easy to use and stays on all day. This one lasts quite good, but does come off a little bit at the end of the day.
Ultra Aqua Brow Tint in Medium, applied on the left brow. Right brow: no product.
Ultra Aqua Brow Tint in Fair, applied on both brows.
I like the product a lot, especially for such an affordable price. I do feel that the colors don’t really match me, Fair is a bit to light, and Medium is dark enough but to warm, since I have a cool toned hair color…I’ve been trying to blend the two together these last few days to find the perfect match, but I still feel that these aren’t the perfect colors for me. There is a dark brown version, but I think that one would be too dark for me.
Since my fringe is quite long and covers my brows, this looks quite ok for now, don’t you think?
Is this a products you would use? Or do you have a must try brow product? Tell me in the comments!
